Role Overview
An experienced AV Project Coordinator is sought to support a Unified Communications (UC) Program. This individual will oversee the coordination and execution of conference room technology deployments, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with business requirements. While much of the work can be performed remotely, periodic onsite visits will be required to support installations and project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities related to conference room AV installations across multiple departments.
- Manage communication between vendors, internal technology teams, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Track, validate, and coordinate AV equipment deliveries and installation schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for departments impacted by deployment activities.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and deliverables, escalating issues as needed to the UC Program Manager and AV Engineering team.
- Coordinate the removal and disposition of legacy equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and administrative functions.
- Assist the UC Program Manager and AV Engineering team with special projects and operational initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical project or program management experience leading complex technology initiatives or capital projects.
- 8+ years of experience supporting the implementation, installation, or integration of audiovisual (AV) hardware and conferencing technologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing project schedules, status reports, and risk mitigation plans.
- Experience working within federal, state, or local government environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting AV modernization, conference room deployments, or Unified Communications initiatives.
- Experience coordinating vendors and hardware installation projects.
- PMP, CTS, CTS-D, or related project management and AV certifications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, conferencing technologies, and enterprise AV systems.
