Title: AV Project Lead
Location: Arlington, Virginia (hybrid)
Contract: W2 only, 6 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
Shift: Part- Time, 24 hours per week 
Pay: $55-65/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview
This position supports the Unified Communications (UC) program as an AV Project Coordinator within the Customer Experience division in our client’s Department of Technology Services. The selected candidate will oversee day-to-day project work assignments to ensure the successful completion of conference room installations. While much of this work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person site visits will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating logistical activities of vendor, internal DTS staff, and users for all installations
  • Facilitating project meetings
  • Tracking and validating equipment deliveries
  • Serving as primary point of contact for communication with departments to provide notification of upcoming work efforts
  • Providing status reports during scheduled project meetings
  • Escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues to UC Program Manager and AV engineering team
  • Coordinating the removal of existing equipment according to the County’s surplus disposal process, where applicable
  • Assisting the UC Program Manager and AV engineering team as required

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of technical program or project management experience leading large capital projects required
  • Preference given to candidates with direct AV experience
  • 8+ years of experience related to implementation, installation, and integration of AV hardware
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working for federal, state, or local government agencies

Required Education
Bachelor's degree required
