DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Senior Validation Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our sophisticated equipment and instruments. In this position, you'll perform validation, calibration, and testing activities across a range of advanced laboratory and production systems. Working with advanced technology and automated systems, you'll support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Your role will involve conducting thorough equipment validations, performing environmental and engineering studies, and maintaining detailed documentation of all activities. You'll work with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with GMP standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced instrumentation while developing expertise in validation processes and technical problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of experience in cGMP/FDA-regulated environments

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Life Sciences, Physics
Industry certifications (ASQ, PES-PAV) beneficial
Expertise in calibration, validation, and testing of sophisticated laboratory equipment
Strong knowledge of GMP standards and quality control procedures
Proficiency in data analysis and documentation using Microsoft Office suite
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make technical decisions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (-78 C to -195 C)
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 600 lb equipment
Experience with environmental monitoring systems and temperature mapping
Effective communication skills and ability to work in team environments
Knowledge of safety protocols and proper PPE usage
Ability to develop and modify SOPs and work instructions
