We are seeking a
Senior Data Platform Engineer to support a Global Trading analytics platform used by trading and commercial teams. This role focuses on building and maintaining
data pipelines and analytics services while also developing
React-based internal dashboards that surface complex trading and logistics data.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines using Databricks
- Develop and optimize data models and queries in Snowflake and SQL
- Build and enhance React-based analytics dashboards for internal users
- Integrate front-end applications with backend data services and APIs
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across the platform
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, product owners, and data teams
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience with Python, including data processing and ETL workflows
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks / Spark
- Advanced experience building applications with React
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake or similar platforms
- Experience supporting data-heavy, analytics-driven applications
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environments
Nice to Have
- Background in trading, commodities, energy, or financial data platforms
- Experience with Azure (AWS/Google Cloud Platform knowledge a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud data architectures
