Oracle DBA (Exadata / EBS R12.2) - 67773
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr
We have an immediate long-term opportunity for an Oracle DBA with strong experience in Oracle Exadata environments to support enterprise database infrastructure for a large-scale implementation. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Database administration, performance tuning, and high availability architecture while working closely with application and infrastructure teams to maintain critical systems. The engagement is expected to run for at least six months with a strong possibility of extension or conversion based on project needs and client requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator and strong hands-on experience managing Oracle Database 19c environments, including multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs). Candidates should have proven experience working with Oracle Exadata and ZFS storage servers, installing and administering Oracle databases on Linux platforms, and managing high availability solutions using Oracle Data Guard. Experience administering Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control is essential, along with expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development, including functions and stored procedures. The consultant should also have strong capabilities in performance tuning, query optimization, and applying patches across all layers of the Oracle Exadata infrastructure.
Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 applications will be highly preferred. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating in a complex enterprise environment and capable of supporting database lifecycle activities including installation, configuration, patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting while ensuring system stability and reliability.
