Project Description:
The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) is seeking experienced Project Manager to support the SUCCESS Integrated Eligibility System modernization initiative.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Validation Testing efforts for a large-scale, cloud-based Integrated Eligibility System supporting SNAP, TANF, Child Care, and Child Support programs. The Project Manager will ensure successful planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of testing activities across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and state teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for testing lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate with MDHS stakeholders, system integrators, and testing vendors
Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing large-scale government or enterprise systems.
Must have Integrated Eligibility experience.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in working on large-scale multiyear SNAP, TANF, Child Care, and Child Support programmatic and technology initiatives.
Experience working with State Eligibility Systems or Human Services systems.
Proven experience managing multi-vendor environments
Strong knowledge of test case development and defect tracking.
Experience collaborating with system integrators and government stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of federal compliance requirements related to benefit systems.
Experience with test automation tools.
Familiarity with legacy eligibility systems and modernization initiatives.
