Genesis10 is currently seeking a HRIS / Workday Compensation & Data Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced HRIS / HR Technology Analyst to support HR technology, compensation, and workforce data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday Compensation, HR systems, data management, and SAS/SQL. The primary focus of this role is supporting and analyzing compensation data and processes within Workday.
Responsibilities: - Support and analyze Workday Compensation processes, configurations, data, and reporting
- Partner with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams to support compensation-related initiatives
- Manage, validate, and troubleshoot HR and compensation data across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain SAS and SQL queries to extract, analyze, validate, and reconcile HR/compensation data
- Identify data quality issues and perform root-cause analysis and remediation
- Support HRIS integrations and data feeds between Workday and other enterprise applications
- Translate business and compensation requirements into technical/data solutions
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts supporting compensation and HR processes
- Participate in system enhancements, testing, upgrades, and implementation initiatives
- Document processes, data requirements, system changes, and business rules
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance
Requirements: - Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation
- Strong experience working with HRIS/HCM systems and HR data
- Strong SQL skills, including querying, data validation, reconciliation, and analysis
- Experience with SAS for data analysis and/or reporting
- Strong understanding of compensation processes and compensation data
- Experience with data management, data quality, and data governance
- Ability to work effectively with HR, Compensation, Technology, and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired skills: - PeopleSoft HCM/Compensation experience will be considered in lieu of Workday
- Experience with other enterprise HCM platforms such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors
- Experience supporting HR technology implementations or large-scale HRIS transformations
- Experience with HRIS integrations and enterprise data environments
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus
Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
