Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, including office relocations and AV/Network deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects with specified deliverables.
Responsibilities: - Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a project with specified deliverables
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with other staff members
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Requirements: - Undergraduate Degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical delivery or project management, with a focus on infrastructure, office relocations and AV/Network deployments
- Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, and PowerBI
- Proven ability to manage timelines for projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Desired skills: - PMP certified preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
Pay range: $81.15 - $91.15 per hour
