Job Title: Graphic Designer (Contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid or Onsite, as applicable)

Duration: 6-Month Contract
Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a 6-month contract engagement based in Charlotte, NC. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and creating high-quality visual assets that support commercial and promotional initiatives across a variety of channels. This role requires strong creative skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and create graphics to support commercial and promotional needs, including:
  • Packaging
  • Displays
  • Print projects
  • Websites
  • Logos
• Develop layout specifications and animations for electronic and digital products.
• Use a variety of media and techniques to achieve artistic, decorative, and brand-aligned effects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including:
  • Printers
  • Copywriters
  • Photographers
  • Other designers
  • Account executives
  • Web designers
  • Marketing specialists
• Manage projects to defined budgets and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
• Archive, organize, and retrieve artwork and electronic files in accordance with company standards.
• Apply an understanding of material costs, production methods, and time constraints to inform design decisions.
• Stay current with the latest design tools, software packages, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a commercial or marketing-driven environment.
• Strong proficiency with current graphic design software and computer packages.
• Solid understanding of print and digital production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with animation and electronic/digital product design.
• Familiarity with web design principles and digital marketing assets.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
