Job Summary

Looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and relational databases to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional team members to build and enhance scalable applications.

This role requires strong programming fundamentals, a focus on code quality, and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Microservices Development: Build, enhance, and support microservices-based applications following established architectural and coding standards.
  • Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Database Management: Develop and optimize SQL queries, database operations, and data models using relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code; perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, technical leads, QA engineers, and other team members to support the development and successful delivery of new projects.
  • Problem Solving: Identify technical issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, share technical knowledge, and contribute to improving development practices and team productivity.

Required Technical Skills (8+ years experience)

  • Java: Strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Spring Boot: Proven experience developing and maintaining applications using Spring Boot.
  • Microservices: Practical experience designing, developing, and integrating microservices-based applications.
  • RDBMS: Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, joins, transactions, and database optimization.
  • Testing & Debugging: Experience writing unit tests, debugging application issues, and ensuring code quality.
  • Software Development Practices: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative software development workflows.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • MongoDB / NoSQL
