About the Role
We are implementing native Oracle E-Business Suite Channel Revenue Management for a large U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturer, replacing a third-party Gross-to-Net (GTN) platform. The solution consolidates chargebacks, rebates, pricing and settlement onto Oracle EBS and is designed as a reusable, multi-entity template to onboard newly acquired businesses (including a SAP-to-Oracle migration) with a target go-live in 2027.
We are looking for the functional lead who owns the native Oracle build the person who determines how faithfully Oracle EBS replicates the current platform, and who anchors the design as a repeatable template. This is a hands-on lead role, not a coordinator seat.
Please note before applying: this role sits at the intersection of a niche Oracle module and pharmaceutical channel revenue. General Oracle EBS experience alone is not a fit. We will prioritize candidates who can speak in detail to Oracle's Channel Revenue Management / Trade Management and chargeback-and-rebate modules from real project work.
What You'll Own
- Solution design for the native Oracle CRM footprint: Channel Rebate & POS Management (chargebacks and third-party accruals, indirect/POS sales), Trade Planning offers and accruals, Claims, and AR Deductions & Settlement.
- Contract and channel pricing in Advanced Pricing (QP): direct and indirect price setup, modifiers, qualifiers, customer-level agreements, product include/exclude and net-of-rebate conditions.
- Chargeback processing end to end: inbound EDI 844, contract/price/NDC/eligibility validation, error bucketing and resolution, accrual and credit-memo creation, and outbound EDI 849 to wholesalers.
- Direct and indirect rebate programs: per-unit and percent-of-sales structures across monthly/quarterly/annual frequencies, accrual program runs, and reconciliation against customer claims.
- Gross-to-Net calculation logic and reporting, built on native accruals plus client-specific estimation rules.
- Integration and migration: EDI (844/845/849/867) and file interfaces via eCommerce Gateway/SOA; data conversion from the incumbent platform and from the acquired entity.
- Reusable template design: operating-unit/ledger model, shared masters, and standardized configuration so future acquisitions are onboarded by configuration, not rebuild.
- Cross-workstream partnership with the life-sciences Government Pricing / Medicaid SME on the compliance layer, and with technical/EDI and data-migration resources.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on Oracle EBS 12.x Channel Revenue Management / Trade Management experience specifically the chargeback-and-rebate and third-party accrual modules on at least one full implementation. (This is the gating requirement.)
- Strong Oracle Advanced Pricing (QP) configuration depth.
- Solid grounding in Order-to-Cash and Accounts Receivable, including credit memos and settlement.
- Experience with pharmaceutical/distribution channel revenue: wholesaler chargebacks, direct/indirect rebates, indirect (867) sales, NDC-level processing.
- Experience with EDI transaction sets (844/845/849/867) and interface design.
- Ability to lead functional design, run client workshops, and translate requirements into configuration and specifications.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Life-sciences GTN exposure adjacent to Government Pricing and Medicaid (AMP, Best Price, URA, PHS/340B).
- Familiarity with third-party GTN platforms (e.g., iContracts, Model N, Revitas) useful for like-for-like replacement.
- SAP-to-Oracle migration experience.
- Multi-org / multi-entity template and rollout design.
- Solution-architecture experience on Oracle CRM.
