A medical device client of ours is seeking a Process Development Technician to support the development and scaling of new products and manufacturing processes. This role will be approximately 75% product-focused and 25% equipment-focused, working closely with engineering teams to support product testing, pilot line development, and process optimization. This is a direct hire opening!
Job Title: Process Development Technician
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Salary: 30-35hr
Key Responsibilities:
\t- Support product development testing, including DV-level testing activities. \t
- Assist with testing components and assemblies, documenting results, and capturing photos for analysis and reporting. \t
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support day-to-day operational issues. \t
- Partner with operators and engineers to gather feedback and improve pilot line performance. \t
- Support the build-out and optimization of pilot manufacturing lines. \t
- Assist with process validation, data collection, and test execution.
Position Qualifications: \t- 2-year degree or related vocational/apprenticeship or 4-6 years equivalent industry experience \t
- Exposure to medical device, electromechanical products, molding, dipping, or assembly operations preferred. \t
- Experience supporting product testing, process development, or manufacturing engineering activities. \t
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document test results effectively. \t
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D and manufacturing setting
