Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Finance Specialist with a notable capacity for dealing with challenges in new domains, working autonomously, and possessing outstanding communication abilities. The role entails project-oriented duties, including handling mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. The candidate will interface with a diverse team to address system alteration needs, author functional specifications, and foster project completion. Proficiency is expected in the SAP modules like Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Accounting (CO), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD), along with familiarity with regulatory standards such as Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Sales and Distribution / Project Implementation:
• Proficient in overseeing multiple SAP Migration projects with a focus on SD Data Conversion that covers Contracts, Customer and Material Master data, Past Sales Records, and data scrutiny.
• Proficient at coordinating a cross-functional team, ensuring communication and adherence to program benchmarks, mapping data transitions, prototype data loads, data audits, trial runs, and refining strategies based on the outcomes.
• Experience with Configuration and Maintenance of Sales Orders and Contracts, Delivery Mechanisms, and Billing Procedures which include Resource-Related Billing and comprehend Sales and Use Taxes within the realms of SAP SD Module with exposure to SD Master Data Management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the integration of SAP SD module with other modules like HR, Project System, Controlling, and Finance.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Billing in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and proficiency in DOD DFARS Billing Regulations.
• Responsible for delivering expert advice and managing the full cycle of Managed Programs and Earned Value (EV) with a focus on serving United States clientele.
• Required to implement SAP PS configuration with a deep understanding of Managed Programs workflows, especially project configuration and how these workflows interact within SAP modules such as Timekeeping, Project Systems, Controlling and Finance, and Billing.
