Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on Java Microservices Development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building robust backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and modern CI/CD practices. A significant emphasis will be placed on expertise in MongoDB, as this will be critical for the successful execution of our projects. The candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable microservices that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
• Extensive experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Proficient in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for deploying applications.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Understanding of security best practices in API development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful backend development projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
