Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Generalist to provide HR support by responding to employee inquiries via phone and email, creating and managing HR cases in ServiceNow, and resolving employee issues in a timely and professional manner. The role serves as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions and provides guidance on compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, and employee lifecycle changes. This is a consultative HR support role requiring strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Employee HR Support

  • Answer employee phone calls and emails regarding Human Resources inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of employee issues.
  • Provide professional, empathetic, and accurate customer service.

HR Case Management

  • Create, update, and manage HR cases using ServiceNow.
  • Document employee interactions and maintain case records.
  • Resolve HR cases accurately and within expected timelines.

Employee Consultation

Provide guidance on:

  • Performance management concerns.
  • Employee lifecycle changes (e.g., part-time to full-time status changes).
  • Compensation questions and consultations, including:
  • Employee pay inquiries.
  • Compensation adjustment flexibility.
  • Company compensation philosophy.
  • Benefits inquiries.
  • Payroll deduction questions.

HR Administration

  • Maintain employee records and HR information.
  • Support onboarding activities.
  • Assist with training and development initiatives.
  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
  • Organize employee performance review activities.
  • Maintain HR documentation and reports.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies and labor regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Support HR reporting and documentation requirements.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • HR-related experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong judgment and quick decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to handle multiple employee inquiries effectively.

Preferred

  • Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a similar case management platform.
  • Customer service or contact center experience.

HR Certification preferred:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR)
