Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Lead
Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 11 Months
Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Summary: Client has a vacancy for a PeopleSoft Technical Lead to coordinate all activities related to the NYCAPS PeopleSoft Upgrade project. The consultant will establish software development standards and controls, implement SDLC processes, and manage the development team throughout the project life cycle. This role requires extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules and upgrade projects, ensuring technical deliverables align with business requirements and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules.
Working experience with PeopleSoft HCM applications (fluid and Drop Zone technologies) and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.62).
Experience with PeopleSoft applications branding.
Implementation, design, and customization experience for PeopleSoft HCM modules: Recruiting, Talent Acquisition Management, Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration, NA Payroll, Absence Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Position Management.
At least 3 major PeopleSoft HCM upgrades as a Technical Lead.
Experience performing analysis of compare reports, participating in Keep/Drop decisions, constructing application flows, and creating functional designs for customizations.
Proficiency in building work unit rollups, creating project plans, distributing work packages, and mentoring team members.
Experience in data/code analysis, technical design creation, coding, unit testing, and debugging PeopleSoft HCM modules.
Experience customizing COBOL stored procedures.
Programming experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Package, Application Engine, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Workflow, Integration Broker, and SQR.
Experience creating/modifying data conversion scripts.
Proficiency with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting, and validating source system data.
Experience developing complex interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems.
Strong knowledge of STAT Tool, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Report Distribution Tools (VISTA Plus, LRS products).
Experience with enterprise-wide, large-scale implementations.
Experience working within a matrix environment.
Oracle Certification.
CA Scheduler Tool.
Experience working with New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS).
