Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive federal travel and relocation domain knowledge combined with experience supporting ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA, SAP Federal Financials, or other federal financial management systems. This individual will assist in requirements definition, fit-gap analysis, business process redesign, testing, training, and deployment activities related to travel and relocation business functions.

Future duties and responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary SME for federal travel and relocation business processes.
  • Provide expertise on end-to-end travel and relocation lifecycle activities, including travel authorization, voucher processing, travel accounting, relocation allowances and reimbursements, and travel policy compliance
  • Support business process standardization and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, workshops, and design sessions.
  • Lead travel and relocation fit-gap assessments against SAP capabilities.
  • Collaborate with SAP integration teams to define business requirements and solution designs.
  • Review functional specifications, configuration documents, and design artifacts.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios, test scripts, and validation procedures.
  • Support testing for travel and relocation requirements and use cases.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Due to the nature of the contract requirements, ship and successful passing of federal background check is required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a Client EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of federal travel and relocation operational experience.
  • 4+ years supporting federal financial management systems or ERP solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise with and/or mlinqs, and federal travel and relocation policies and procedures.
  • Experience supporting testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desired qualifications:
  • SAP implementation experience, particularly SAP S/4HANA, SAP FM, MM, FI/CO.
  • Experience integrating SAP with federal travel and relocation systems.
  • Knowledge of federal financial management regulations and guidance.
  • SAP certification(s).
