Project Manager to support critical technology initiatives across multiple government departments. This role will lead complex IT projects involving system integrations, vendor management, data validation, and modernization efforts supporting governmental and social services operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in an ongoing migration initiative involving a new AI-driven platform for governmental departments. This position requires a strong technical project management background, exceptional stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to independently drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving external vendors, laboratories, Department Health, Department and other government agencies.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from multiple departments and agencies.
- Manage integrations between various state and county registries, systems, and databases.
- Support migration and implementation activities for AI-driven and enterprise technology platforms.
- Facilitate communication between business users, vendors, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
- Generate and review operational and project reporting using reporting and business intelligence tools.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise-level IT projects.
- Strong technical project management experience working with software implementations, integrations, and data validation initiatives.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and coordinating across multiple external agencies or departments.
- Proven ability to gather and document technical and business requirements.
- Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar healthcare/public health systems.
- Knowledge of HL7 integration standards and healthcare data exchange processes.
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Experience supporting public health, social services, or laboratory operations.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
