Job Title: Unix/Linux System Engineer (Ansible Automation)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Unix/Linux Engineer with hands-on experience in Ansible and YAML scripting to automate infrastructure, manage servers, and support deployment processes across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers in production and non-production environments
Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks for automation
Configure and manage systems using YAML-based configurations
Perform server provisioning, patching, and configuration management
Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related issues
Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Ensure system security, compliance, and performance tuning

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Unix/Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
Hands-on experience with Ansible (playbooks, roles, modules)
Proficiency in YAML scripting
Good knowledge of SSH, shell scripting (Bash)
Experience with version control tools like Git
Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure is a plus)
