Description
We are looking for a skilled Technical Illustrator to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this long-term contract position, you will create detailed and visually engaging illustrations to support technical documentation, marketing materials, and product designs. If you have a passion for translating complex ideas into clear visuals and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role may be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality technical illustrations, diagrams, and product designs that align with project specifications.
Utilize 2D and 3D illustration techniques to create visuals for brochures, manuals, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate representation of technical concepts.
Work extensively with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other Creative Cloud tools to produce vector and raster illustrations.
Design and refine product illustrations to meet branding and functional requirements.
Create diagrams and technical drawings to enhance understanding of complex systems or processes.
Ensure all designs are consistent with organizational guidelines and standards.
Review and update illustrations based on feedback from stakeholders and team members.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality expectations.
Stay current with industry trends and tools to continually improve design processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or technical illustration.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong expertise in creating both 2D and 3D illustrations.
Ability to design technical diagrams and drawings with precision.
Experience in producing marketing materials such as brochures and product illustrations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information visually.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with vector illustration techniques and tools.
