Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Lab Engineer to support enterprise technology evaluation, testing, and innovation lab environments. This role will partner with engineering teams, architects, and project managers to deliver reliable infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, and lab services.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, systems administration, or lab engineering, combined with excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

This is an infrastructure-focused role, not a traditional software development, DevOps, CI/CD, application support, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) position.

Key Responsibilities




  • Partner with project teams to understand technical requirements and deliver appropriate lab solutions.


  • Provide technical guidance on lab capabilities, supported platforms, and infrastructure services.


  • Troubleshoot operating systems, cloud services, networking, connectivity, identity, proxy, and integration issues.


  • Administer and support Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android environments.


  • Support virtualization and cloud technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).


  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or similar tools.


  • Develop technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.


  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers on platform upgrades, enhancements, and new technology implementations.


  • Support proof-of-concept testing, sandbox environments, and emerging technology evaluations.


Required Qualifications




  • 5 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, systems administration, or lab engineering.


  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, and endpoint technologies.


  • Experience supporting VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.


  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, compute, identity management, and security.


  • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, cloud, and platform integration issues.


  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform.


  • Strong communication, customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to work directly with engineering teams, architects, and project stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience supporting enterprise innovation labs, proof-of-concept environments, or pre-production testing platforms.


  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure.


  • Exposure to AI/ML platforms, emerging technologies, and enterprise SaaS solutions.


  • Knowledge of endpoint management, proxy services, secure connectivity, and access management.


  • Experience evaluating and integrating new technologies alongside vendors and engineering teams.


  • Cloud, virtualization, infrastructure, or security certifications are a plus.
