Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on SAP MM/WM Subject Matter Expert to support the CHERPA team with a focused remediation effort at the Myerstown (MYR) site. The scope centers on stock category management, supply area configuration for MES integration, and inventory flow between Rockwell PharmaSuite and SAP. The team has already defined what needs to change; this role is specifically to advise on how to execute those changes correctly within SAP. This is a targeted, short-duration engagement rather than a long-term program build.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Review and validate the existing template (created ~3 years ago) for resource–supply area relationships, updating it as needed with current material numbers ahead of roll-out.

•       Design and configure new supply areas based on existing structures, ensuring they''re ready for activation just before go-live and specifically geared toward Rockwell PharmaSuite requirements.

•       Advise on storage type consolidation (B01, B02, B03, B3A, 2FB-fixed bin) given PharmaSuite''s lack of a warehouse management module, ensuring goods issue messages from order execution don''t trigger unwanted standalone negative inventory movements in SAP.

•       Configure and validate the GR (goods receipt) process for the PharmaSuite-to-SAP label scanning workflow, including disabling automated GR prints out of SAP in roll-out areas.

•       Recommend and implement special movement indicators so that generated stock transfers directly to the next area, preventing standalone negative inventory in SAP.

•       Provide configuration guidance and best-practice recommendations to the CHERPA team, documenting rationale so the internal team can maintain the solution going forward.

•       Participate in onboarding sessions and working workshops (remote or on-site as needed) to align on requirements and validate proposed configurations against site-specific constraints.

Must Have Requirements:

•       Deep hands-on expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules, specifically stock category management and supply area configuration.

•       Proven experience configuring SAP for MES-integrated manufacturing environments.

•       Strong understanding of inventory movement types, goods issue/receipt processes, and movement indicators in SAP.

•       Ability to work independently on a focused, short-term engagement with minimal ramp-up time.

Good to Have Skills:

•       Prior experience integrating SAP with Rockwell PharmaSuite or similar MES platforms lacking native WM functionality.

•       Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.

•       Familiarity with S/4HANA inventory and supply area configuration specifics (vs. ECC).
