Summary

Digital Product Manager
Location: Honolulu, HI (Primarily Onsite)
About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to own and evolve key platforms within our Digital Banking ecosystem, with an initial focus on digital fraud solutions and future expansion into additional digital banking platforms. This role is ideal for a highly driven, hands-on product leader who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment and is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels. This individual will be responsible for defining product vision, building and maintaining a customer-centric roadmap, and driving measurable customer and business value. Unlike a traditional project manager, this role sits at the center of strategy, execution, analytics, and stakeholder alignment, requiring strong independent ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned digital banking platforms, beginning with the digital fraud platform.
  • Translate the bank's strategic vision and business objectives into a clear, actionable product roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer value, platform effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Define product success metrics and continuously evaluate performance against goals.
  • Understand platform capabilities, costs, dependencies, and value realization.

Roadmap Development & Execution
  • Develop, manage, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap aligned to business and customer needs.
  • Lead product discovery, requirements definition, and feature prioritization.
  • Partner closely with Digital Banking, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and vendors to deliver enhancements.
  • Support implementation and launch of new features, services, and platform improvements.
  • Ensure smooth transition from delivery into production and ongoing product support.

Stakeholder & Executive Communication
  • Clearly articulate the "why" behind product decisions to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Build business cases and justify investments through data, financial analysis, and customer insights.
  • Act as a trusted product advisor across the organization, aligning diverse perspectives.

Analytics, Marketing & Optimization
  • Analyze customer feedback, usage data, fraud trends, and performance metrics.
  • Translate insights into actionable product improvements and strategic recommendations.
  • Support product positioning and digital product marketing strategy in partnership with marketing teams.
  • Lead internal training and enablement for new capabilities and enhancements.

Compliance & Risk
  • Ensure products comply with regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements.
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to address issues at both strategic and detailed levels.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Banking, Product Management, Digital Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience owning digital products within online and mobile banking channels.
  • Strong strategic planning, roadmap development, and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Comfortable moving between high-level strategy and detailed compliance or development issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with online banking, digital channels, or fraud platforms.
  • Background in consumer behavior, psychology, or digital marketing.
  • Experience building financial proformas and ROI models.
  • Project delivery experience in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
  • 1-3 years of people management experience (Senior-level role).
  • Financial services or banking industry experience strongly preferred.

Employee Value Proposition
  • Join a small, highly collaborative Digital Banking team (3 FTEs) with high visibility and impact.
  • Work on tech-forward platforms that directly impact customer experience and fraud prevention.
  • Operate within a team that moves quickly, values accountability, and is held to a high standard under executive leadership.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of the bank's digital products and roadmap.

Business Impact
This is a newly created role driven by the need to protect and advance the digital roadmap. Without this position, the existing team will be stretched, and critical digital initiatives risk delay.
