Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reports
- Develop recurring and ad hoc financial reports using Excel
- Assist with quarterly financial reporting and regulatory deliverables
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Collaborate with finance and business partners to meet reporting deadlines
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; 8 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience
- Experience supporting healthcare, managed care, Medicaid, or other regulated industries
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadline
- Experience with financial ERP systems (PeopleSoft, OneStream, or similar platforms).
- Knowledge of grants, federal funding, or government reimbursement programs.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree
