Role Overview:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional programs that drive strategic business objectives. This role ensures alignment between stakeholders, manages complex dependencies, mitigates risks, and delivers measurable outcomes on time and within budget. The Senior Program Manager partners closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, operations, and other teams to ensure successful program execution.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

• Define program vision, goals, success metrics, and roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
• Translate business objectives into actionable program plans.
• Drive execution across multiple interrelated projects and workstreams.
• Ensure alignment with corporate priorities and long-term growth initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and HR.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and executive committees.

Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Oversee project managers and team leads to ensure coordinated execution.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and decision-making processes.
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve roadblocks.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies.
• Implement contingency planning to minimize disruptions.
• Escalate critical issues appropriately and recommend data-driven solutions.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
• Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.
• Track and report financial performance against program objectives.

Process Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement in program management methodologies.
• Implement best practices and standardization across initiatives.
• Leverage tools and technology to improve visibility and execution efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12+ years of experience in program or project management.
• Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional programs.

• Proven execution in multi brand or multi POS environments; strong Simphony POS background preferred (Brink/Toast helpful).

• Hands on with 1P/3P delivery orchestration, marketplace integrations, and driver/dispatch platforms (Vromo a plus).

• Run a tight governance cadence across Product, Engineering, Store Ops, Data/Analytics, Security/Identity, and Partner teams.

• Governance and financial fluency: business case mechanics, capitalization rules, cost center alignment, ServiceNow, VNDLY.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in digital transformation, enterprise systems, or large-scale operational initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience managing global or distributed teams.
