Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UKG Boomi Integration Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integrations within the UKG Boomi ecosystem. This role is critical for connecting UKG Pro/Dimensions with various upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of the Boomi platform, API management, and middleware architecture. You will serve as a technical consultant, bridging the gap between business requirements and scalable technical solutions while ensuring data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities
· Expert Consulting & Design: Act as the Boomi subject matter expert (SME) to consult on best practices, architectural patterns, and integration frameworks tailored to UKG environments.
· End-to-End API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust APIs and web services. Manage the full integration lifecycle, including data mapping, transformation logic, and complex authentication models (OAuth, SAML, etc.).
· Strategic Stakeholder Interaction: Work directly with functional teams, business SMEs, and technical architects to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
· Troubleshooting & Optimization: Perform advanced debugging across the Boomi ecosystem to resolve bottlenecks and ensure high performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 10 years of experience in Middleware and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
· Hands-on UKG Boomi Expertise: Proven track record of developing interfaces specifically within the UKG Boomi (formerly Dell Boomi) platform.
· API & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and various integration design patterns.
· Security & Auth: Extensive experience with different authentication models and secure data transmission protocols.
· Communication: Exceptional consulting skills with the ability to lead customer-facing discussions and technical workshops.
