Summary

This is a full time opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that power key business functions and deliver reliable user experiences. You will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with product partners and engineering teams to bring high quality solutions from concept through production.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys technical ownership and mentoring others while working on complex systems. You will have the chance to influence architecture decisions, improve engineering practices, and help shape the direction of the team. If you are driven by problem solving, continuous improvement, and building well designed software, this role offers strong growth and impact. Required Skills & Experience Five to seven years of professional software engineering experience using modern programming languages
Strong understanding of core software development principles including object oriented design and system architecture
Experience building and delivering complex applications in a team environment
Proven ability to mentor junior and mid level engineers
Ability to write clear technical documentation and specifications
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience Desired Skills & Experience Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services or insurance
Familiarity with policy or billing systems
Exposure to Guidewire technologies or relevant certifications
Experience evaluating and implementing new tools or frameworks

Key Responsibilities:
Lead development efforts for complex software solutions with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Guide and support engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing
Contribute to architectural decisions and promote strong engineering standards
Identify opportunities to improve code quality and reduce technical debt
Collaborate with stakeholders to design efficient and practical solutions
Create detailed technical designs and specifications for new features
Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
Ensure applications meet quality expectations through testing and validation
