Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to drive delivery across a Loan IQ integrations platform, with a strong focus on payments and downstream systems.
This is a delivery-critical role suited for an experienced engineer who thrives in complex, regulated environments and enjoys full ownership of implementation from design through deployment and support.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and implement approved integration architecture and technical designs
Modernize existing integrations to improve:
Resiliency
Observability
Scalability
Testability
Build and refactor API-driven integrations, reducing direct SQL dependencies
Support BAU activities including monitoring, incident management, and production releases
Enhance logging, error handling, and monitoring across distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams while operating with minimal oversight
Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Required Qualifications
6+ years of hands-on enterprise software engineering experience (10+ preferred)
Strong experience with .NET Core / Modern .NET
Deep expertise in:
REST APIs
SOAP services
XQuery
File-based integrations
Proven experience executing architecture-led modernization initiatives
Experience working in highly regulated financial environments
Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Loan IQ
Cloud or hybrid architecture exposure
Financial services / banking industry background
Experience modernizing batch or scheduled integration jobs
