Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to lead technology operations for a machinery manufacturing organization in Orlando, Florida. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, reliable infrastructure that supports day-to-day business performance and long-term operational goals. The ideal candidate will combine strategic oversight with hands-on technical leadership across network systems, server environments, data protection, and end-user technology.
Responsibilities:
Direct the planning, maintenance, and improvement of the company's IT infrastructure to ensure stable and efficient operations.
Oversee administration of Active Directory environments, including user access, group policies, and security controls.
Manage backup and recovery practices to protect business-critical systems and data from disruption or loss.
Lead the support and optimization of Cisco-based networking equipment, including connectivity, performance, and troubleshooting.
Supervise the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of computer hardware across the organization.
Establish and enforce configuration management standards to improve system consistency, compliance, and reliability.
Partner with leadership and operational teams to align technology initiatives with manufacturing and business needs.
Guide technical staff and external service providers, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and resolving escalated issues.
Requirements
Proven experience in an IT leadership role with responsibility for infrastructure, support, and systems administration.
Strong working knowledge of Active Directory administration and enterprise access management.
Experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery planning in a business environment.
Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies, including network configuration and issue resolution.
Familiarity with computer hardware support, procurement, and asset lifecycle management.
Understanding of configuration management principles and standardization practices across IT systems.
Ability to lead technical projects, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
