Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the U.S. Forest Service (USFS)
Fire and Aviation Management (FAM) organization. The Program Manager will serve as
the primary point of contact with the Government, oversee contract performance, monitor
schedules and deliverables, coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative
(COR), and ensure successful execution of program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison with the Government COR.
Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and performance.
Conduct regular status meetings and performance reviews.
Monitor Executive Consultant deliverables.
Develop project strategies and implementation plans.
Provide analytical guidance and recommendations.
Coordinate travel requests and budget approvals.
Prepare project reports and performance documentation.
Support overall contract administration and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with at least five (5) years of progressive program/project management experience; OR Associate degree with at least eight (8) years of related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational abilities.
Required Experience
Candidates should demonstrate experience within the last three years supporting the U.S.
Forest Service, including:
Monthly performance reviews with a USFS Contracting Officer's Representative.
Milestone and performance tracking.
Travel planning and budget compliance
