Sr. Devops Consultant - Onsite

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Devops Consultant to join our Software Development team to support our client projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of high-quality, scalable applications. This role requires strong proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document current application environments (dev/test/prod), including configurations, integrations, and dependencies.
• Review deployment processes and provide recommendations for improving efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
• Review existing application code to identify defects, risks, technical debt, or areas requiring optimization and update existing code with enhancements.
• Assist with troubleshooting environment related issues, deployment failures, or configuration inconsistencies.
• Conduct structured knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure long term maintainability.
• Provide recommendations and best practices for code stability, environment management, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with internal IT staff, stakeholders, and cross functional teams to clarify requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare documentation outlining findings, recommended remediation steps, and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with HCL technologies (e.g., VOLT/IRIS, Foundry).
• Experience configuring environments and evaluating application deployment pipelines.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, integration points, and system dependencies.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting application code for quality, structure, and stability.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly in explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Experience with CI/CD tools or automated deployment frameworks.
• Prior consulting or contractor experience supporting environment modernization or technical remediation initiatives.
• Familiarity with best practices for application lifecycle management in enterprise environments.
