Position Overview
The Unified Communications (UC) Audio Video (AV) Specialist is responsible for supporting technology used in shared spaces, conference rooms, and offices.
Primary responsibilities include providing white glove meeting support in conference and training rooms.
Key tasks include basic troubleshooting of common AV and conferencing components such as video endpoints, projectors, cabling, phones, wireless presenting devices, and third-party soft codec conferencing systems.
The UC AV Specialist is also responsible for maintaining accurate equipment inventory, keeping signage and end-user instructions updated, and ensuring an exceptional end-user experience. They must demonstrate strong customer interaction skills and remain calm under pressure.
What You'll Do
Have a basic understanding of A/V systems, networks (wired & wireless), and collaboration environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
Perform routine conference room checks to ensure all systems are functioning
Troubleshoot A/V and videoconferencing components including:
Crestron control systems
Polycom / Logitech / Cisco video endpoints
Wireless presentation platforms (e.g., Solstice)
Projectors, screens, touch panels, and cables
Deliver excellent customer service and white glove support
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams meetings, settings, and troubleshooting
Create and maintain end-user documentation for shared spaces
Identify defective equipment and escalate as needed
Maintain in-room instructions, end-user guides, and Service Desk documentation
Nice-to-Have Experience
0-3 years of A/V support experience with white glove service
Experience with Microsoft Teams support and documentation
Strong presentation and customer service skills
Ability to follow standards, policies, and procedures
Strong desire for continuous learning
Experience with Cisco WebEx

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
