Genesis10 is currently seeking a Compliance Reporting Specialist for a 12+ month contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will join a global Production Operations team, where you will be responsible for supporting compliance reporting, regulatory requests, and audit-related activities. You will actively engage with business, technology, and Compliance teams to gather inputs, document findings, track actions, and ensure accurate and timely reporting to Compliance and Regulators. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented analyst who demonstrates strong ownership and ensures high quality in execution.
Responsibilities: - Attend governance, compliance, and operational calls with business, technology, and Compliance teams to understand requirements, issues, and timelines
- Gather and validate inputs from stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of compliance-related information
- Document discussions, findings, risks, decisions, and action items in a structured and timely manner
- Prepare compliance reports, regulatory submissions, audit artefacts, and status updates aligned to company standards
- Track and drive action items to closure by coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely updates on open items
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and highlight them proactively to relevant stakeholders and leadership
- Prepare and present clear, concise updates to leadership on compliance status, key findings, and progress against agreed actions
- Contribute to improving reporting quality, strengthening controls, and supporting a culture of vigilance, ownership, and continuous improvement
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of experience in Technology Operations, Compliance, Audit, Regulatory Reporting, or related functions
- Strong documentation and reporting skills with the ability to convert discussions into clear, structured outputs
- Effective stakeholder communication and coordination across business, technology, and Compliance teams
- Ability to analyse inputs, identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and provide clear insights
- Strong ownership mindset with proactive follow-up and closure tracking of action items
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness of compliance information
- Confidence in preparing and presenting updates to leadership in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a structured and disciplined manner
- Working knowledge of compliance reporting, audit processes, and regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (e.g., IAM, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Config) and how cloud controls map to compliance/audit requirements
- Familiarity with cloud security and governance concepts (e.g., access management, encryption, audit logging) sufficient to evaluate control evidence
- Strong hands-on experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired skills: - Experience supporting audit reviews, regulatory requests, or compliance reporting within a Ratings or financial services environment
- Understanding of Production Operations, incident management, and control frameworks
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of cloud governance/compliance frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Prior experience supporting SOX, SOC, or internal/external audit engagements involving cloud infrastructure or technology controls
Pay range: $59.08 - $69.08 per hour
