Electrical Electronic Technician (EET)
Location: Hunt Valley, MD
Pay: $35.00/hour
Available Shifts:
- B Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- C Shift: 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Electronic Technician (EET) to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This temporary opportunity is ideal for skilled electrical maintenance professionals with experience working on automated systems, controls, motors, conveyors, and industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, robotic equipment, PLCs, transformers, drives, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Install power supply wiring, conduit, and electrical components for new equipment and facility upgrades
- Diagnose and repair motors, motor starters, transformers, lighting systems, and machine wiring
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Replace faulty electrical components and ensure equipment reliability
- Document maintenance activities and communicate repair status with operations and maintenance teams
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Trade school certification, completed apprenticeship, Associate Degree in a related field, or 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and production equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings
- Knowledge of industrial control wiring and electrical installations
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and adapt to changing business needs
