Description:
Overview

Lead enterprise-wide Agile transformation by managing a team of practitioners who coach, mentor, and enable delivery teams. You will guide organizational adoption of Agile frameworks, drive continuous improvement, influence senior stakeholders, and own Jira as the enterprise Agile delivery platform.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead and grow a team of Scrum Masters supporting multiple product teams.
  • Promote a culture of self-organization, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement clear accountability mechanisms and evaluate team performance metrics.
  • Serve as Jira Product Owner, overseeing configuration, governance, workflows, and standards.

Agile Transformation
  • Partner with senior leadership to evolve enterprise Agile practices.
  • Design frameworks that mature teams from foundational to advanced Agile capabilities.
  • Conduct Agile maturity assessments and create targeted improvement roadmaps.
  • Standardize Jira schemes, custom fields, automation, dashboards, and Advanced Roadmaps for visibility and alignment.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Product Owners and delivery leaders.
  • Facilitate decision-making forums that promote alignment and clarity.
  • Establish communication mechanisms that increase transparency and mitigate delivery risks.

Continuous Improvement
  • Use data-driven insights to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead program-level retrospectives to address systemic challenges.
  • Continuously optimize Jira configurations, integrations, and reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Agile Leadership
  • Proven experience leading Agile transformations and high-performing Scrum Master teams.
  • Expertise applying multiple Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
  • Strong understanding of Agile KPIs and data-driven improvement practices.

Technical Expertise
  • 5+ years administering Jira at enterprise scale.
  • Proficiency with Jira Advanced Roadmaps, automations, and integrations (e.g., Confluence, GitHub/Bitbucket, ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with SAFe, release planning, and cross-team coordination.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and convert insights into action.

Professional Skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and servant leadership abilities.
  • Able to work independently and navigate complex organizational environments.

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years as a Scrum Master leading software development teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing Agile teams through full delivery lifecycles.
  • Jira Product Owner/Administrator experience strongly preferred.

Preferred Certifications
  • Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe).
  • Atlassian Jira Administration certifications.
  • Six Sigma (optional).
