Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Time-Series Based Planning (TSBP) and Order-Based Planning (OBP). The consultant will be responsible for demand and supply planning, S&OP processes, system configuration, and real-time integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.

Must-Have Skills

• SAP IBP expertise in TSBP and OBP
• Strong experience in Supply & Demand Planning and S&OP
• SAP IBP configuration and integration experience (SPI / CPI-DS / SDI)
• Integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC
• 10+ years of relevant SAP planning experience
• Excellent business-facing and stakeholder collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

Time-Series Based Planning (TSBP)

• Configure planning areas, key figures, planning levels, and time profiles
• Define and manage master data types and attributes
• Implement and fine-tune statistical forecasting models
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy and lifecycle planning
• Configure time-series supply planning heuristics
• Define sourcing rules, production constraints, and lead times
• Optimize supply plans using cost-based optimization
• Facilitate demand and supply consensus via S&OP processes
• Support scenario planning and what-if simulations
• Monitor planning run performance and optimize planning views and operators

Order-Based Planning (OBP)

• Design OBP architecture integrated with SAP S/4HANA or ECC
• Configure real-time data integration using SDI or CPI-DS
• Implement heuristic-based planning for short-term execution
• Configure pegging strategies and ATP categories
• Define cost functions, penalties, and constraints for optimizer runs
• Analyze optimizer logs and fine-tune parameters for performance and accuracy
• Configure deployment rules and fair-share logic
• Manage transportation lanes and lead times
• Set up alerts and exception-based planning for proactive issue resolution

Nice to Have

• Experience in IBP Response & Supply (IBP-RS)
• Exposure to complex global supply chain environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
