Full Stack Developer (Only Local Candidate)

Role: Full Stack Developer
Location: New York City, NY (On-Site, with hybrid model)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support large-scale data center migration and application modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across frontend, backend, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices, with a focus on transforming legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead application discovery and technical assessments across frontend, backend, databases, middleware, and APIs.
• Analyze legacy applications and define modernization, refactoring, and migration strategies.
• Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Transform monolithic systems into microservices-based architectures.
• Implement secure authentication & authorization (OAuth2, SAML, IAM).
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Support database migration, optimization, and cloud storage transitions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tools (ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Lead production deployments, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, QA, Operations).
• Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Full Stack Development (Java / Python / Node.js + React / Angular / Vue).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Expertise in containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience with database systems (SQL & NoSQL).
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth2, SAML, IAM).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data center migration or cloud transformation projects
• Exposure to DevOps and SRE practices
• Certifications in AWS / Azure / Kubernetes
