Hyundai Autoever America is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO professional to help shape the backbone of our finance systems. In this role, you'll implement, maintain, and support our Finance & Cost Management (FCM) landscape—partnering closely with business stakeholders and collaborating with our Korea HQ and America teams to keep operations running seamlessly. What You'll Do
- Deliver SAP solutions using standard ERP Finance functionality and Custom Business Objects (CBO) programs.
- Monitor and manage application performance (APM) to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Support end users, with special focus on the critical Month-End Close cycle.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve persistent or complex SAP application issues.
- Collaborate globally with Hyundai AutoEver Korea and America teams to align on solutions and best practices.
Scope & Impact
- Decision-Making: You'll tackle complex issues that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors, exercising sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria. You'll also build relationships with key contacts beyond your immediate area of expertise.
- Ownership: You'll escalate thoughtfully when a business need falls outside the scope of the role, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Strategy: You'll determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate the activities of other team members.
- Supervisory Responsibility: Individual contributor role (no direct reports).
What You'll Bring
Education
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT, Finance, Business, or a quantitative field), or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration and/or related development.
- 2+ full life-cycle SAP project implementations.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a strong plus.
Skills & Knowledge
You'll bring deep, hands-on expertise across the following areas:
- Controlling (CO): Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing (BOMs, Routings, Material Ledger), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Manufacturing Variance analysis.
- Master Data: Material, Vendor, Customer, and Bank Master, plus BOMs and Routings.
- Integration: FI/CO integration with logistics modules—Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP).
- Configuration: FICO configuration, including ECC 6.0, with expertise across CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-PA, and FI modules.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into financial solution requirements and understand IFRS / US-GAAP implications on SAP ERP.
- Technical Depth: Comfortable navigating existing ABAP code to determine how objects should be enhanced.
- Preferred: FI module components—General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, and Consolidation.
