Description
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple large-scale IT projects within our organization. Based in San Antonio, Texas, this position will focus on ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level projects while maintaining quality standards, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams to drive project success and implement best practices for project management across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Collaborate with senior leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to validate project requirements and develop cost analyses.
Establish and implement standardized project management policies and processes to promote consistency and efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to project managers at the entry level to help them develop their skills and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
Manage IT portfolios, programs, and projects, supporting strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including lifecycle policies, budgets, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate project teams, including internal staff and external consultants, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Oversee quality control processes to ensure projects meet specified standards and deliverables.
Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting progress and addressing challenges.
Drive continuous improvement in project management practices to optimize organizational performance.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in IT infrastructure.
Proven expertise in managing data center, network, enterprise infrastructure, and structured cabling projects.
Strong understanding of enterprise-level IT systems and processes.
PMP certification required.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing standardized project management practices.
Ability to perform detailed cost analyses and ensure projects remain within budget.
Adept at managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality and timelines.
