Summary

Design Engineering (~50%)

  • Create, modify, and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CREO.
  • Support concept development, design iterations, and engineering changes
  • Ensure designs meet functional, tolerance, material, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and design validation activities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams to resolve design issues
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and drawing standards.

Reliability Engineering (~50%)

  • Perform and support DFMEA / PFMEA, risk, and criticality analysis
  • Support development of reliability and durability test plans
  • Analyze test results and field feedback to identify failure mechanisms
  • Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and corrective actions
  • Drive design improvements to improve reliability, durability, and MTBF
  • Apply reliability engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle

FUTURE ROLE EVOLUTION (100% RELIABILITY)

  • As business needs evolve, this role will transition toward full reliability ownership, including defining reliability requirements, leading validation activities, driving failure analysis and corrective actions, and acting as the focal point for product reliability performance.
