Description

The Senior Cyber Operations Developer is a key contributor to SAIC's mission-driven efforts, ensuring the successful creation and deployment of secure, high-performance cyber tools. Through collaboration, leadership, and technical acumen, this role helps deliver innovative solutions that meet operational needs and align with SAIC's dedication to excellence.

The Senior Cyber Operations Developer is responsible for leading the development and demonstration of advanced cyber capabilities that address operational needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership, focused on delivering secure and innovative solutions through the development lifecycle. The individual will oversee technical workstreams, support mission-driven initiatives, and ensure all deliverables meet SAIC's high-quality standards and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of advanced cyber capabilities designed to support SAIC's mission objectives and operational excellence.
  • Oversee testing, refinement, and demonstrations of cyber tools, ensuring they meet performance and security requirements.
  • Guide technical teams in capability design and implementation processes, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the reliability of capabilities.
  • Support documentation efforts by creating technical reports, user guides, and assessment results for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of developed tools within secure environments.
  • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity best practices, mandates, and policies applicable to solutions under development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience. Additional experience or certifications may be except in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Applicable DoD 8140 (formerly DoD 8570) certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or Security+).
  • Expertise in developing and testing cyber tools and systems to meet operational requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead technical development efforts across teams and coordinate within collaborative environments.
  • Strong understanding of secure development practices, testing processes, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with integrating cyber capabilities into secure systems and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Experience leading capability demonstrations and technical evaluations in operationally focused environments.
  • Advanced skills in identifying issues during development lifecycles and implementing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies and architectures that can enhance cyber capability performance.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills to support reporting and documentation.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
