About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Node.js Full-Stack Engineer to design and build AI-powered applications, conversational assistants, and scalable backend platforms. The ideal candidate is highly experienced with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern full-stack development, with hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI capabilities into production applications.

You'll work across backend services, AI integrations, enterprise systems, and React/Angular front ends while collaborating with product and architecture teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build AI-driven applications using Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, OpenAI/LLM APIs, LangChain, and agentic frameworks
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js backend services, APIs, and microservices
• Build and maintain Node.js test suites and tooling, including Mocha-based functional/integration testing and TDD workflows
• Integrate enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, and LDAP through REST APIs
• Develop conversational AI tools, Slack bots, and Co-Pilot-style assistant experiences
• Build and maintain React/Angular front ends with modern state management using Redux, React Query, or similar technologies
• Develop AI testing and validation frameworks for hallucination detection, response consistency, regression testing, and output quality
• Implement observability, monitoring, and metrics using tools such as Datadog
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and AWS services including S3, SQS, ECS, and Lambda
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development experience
• Strong, demonstrable Node.js/TypeScript experience is essential — candidates should be comfortable architecting, building, testing, and troubleshooting production Node.js services
• Full-stack development experience with React and/or Angular
• Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI, LLMs, or generative AI into production applications
• Strong experience building REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI output validation
• Working knowledge of Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django is a plus
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications (AI Practitioner, DVA, SAA)
• Experience with Dell Boomi or similar workflow automation platforms
• Enterprise DevOps experience with Vault, Ansible, or HashiCorp tooling
• Go experience
• Experience building MCP servers, connectors, or AI tool integrations
