AR/VR Applications Engineer - Photos, Vision Products Software

It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible - all while staying connected to the people around us.\\n\\nThis Vision Pro team is looking for Applications Engineers to help us build the next generation of features for the Photos app on the Apple Vision Pro. This team works with cutting edge AR/VR technology to create magical experiences for our customers with their most personal and cherished content. As a member of our organization you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.

You will work on Photos; a productivity app that ships with every Apple Vision Pro which allows users to experience their most personal and cherished home photos and videos in a brand new and exciting way.\n\nYou will work closely with Apple's framework teams and Human Interface designers - pushing you to think outside-the-box, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems in AR/VR.\n\nYou will work with technologies such as RealityKit, SwiftUI and ARKit. You will have access to a wide variety of internal frameworks and services that will allow you to create an application that is deeply integrated into our operating systems.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/related or equivalent experience\n3+ years experience in software development.\nExperience building complex applications that are functional, beautiful and delightful.\nExperience with App development concepts using frameworks like SwiftUI, UIKit, ARKit, ARCore\nAttention to detail, creativity, and a passion for spatial computing.\nAbility to collaborate and work in a highly cross-functional environment.\nProficiency in an application programming language, such as Swift, Objective-C, C/C++, etc.

Familiarity with any of the following Apple technologies: SwiftUI, UIKit, ARKit, Metal, RealityKit.\nProficiency in iOS development practices.\nExperience in 3D Graphics, Real Time Graphics, or 3D Math.\nExperience building AR/VR apps either professionally or personally.\nInterest or proficiency in UI/UX design.\nInterest in photography or videography.
