Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AP Supervisor to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is a full-time remote position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the Accounts Payable (AP) function within our organization. As an AP Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the AP department. This includes managing invoice processing, maintaining General Ledger (GL) entries, handling customer service issues, and ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the AP department, including invoicing, GL entries, disbursements, and vendor data clean up.
- Supervise and mentor a team of content coordinators to ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing.
- Maintain supplier data and ensure accuracy in the vendor master file.
- Handle all AP related customer service issues and inquiries.
- Responsible for the management of travel and expense (T&E) reports and reimbursements.
- Conduct regular analysis of AP processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement.
- Coordinate with the finance team for month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.
- Utilize and maintain AP systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AP leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in AP software such as PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) functions and month/year-end close processes.
- Excellent knowledge of AP processes including invoicing, disbursements, T&E, and vendor data management.
- Strong customer service skills to handle AP related inquiries and issues.
- Excellent analytical skills to conduct regular AP process analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SOPs and company policies related to AP.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of content coordinators.
- Ability to work remotely and manage a team in a virtual environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
