Planisware Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

Role: Business Consultant Planisware
Location: “Newark, NJ”. [Remote Role, However, very minimum travel may require to client’s places.]

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant with Planisware expertise to join our Consulting practice. In this role, you will partner with client stakeholders to shape enterprise portfolio management strategies, optimize business processes, and design scalable operating models enabled by Planisware solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, bridging business objectives with solution design to drive sustainable transformation and business value.

Day-to-Day Job Duties:

·        Partner with client business and leadership teams to understand strategic objectives and translate them into enterprise portfolio management solutions.

·        Lead business discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and requirements gathering exercises.

·        Advise clients on portfolio governance, operating model design, process optimization, and transformation initiatives enabled by Planisware.

·        Design scalable solution architectures aligned with business priorities, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.

·        Define future-state business processes, operating models, and implementation roadmaps.

·        Provide strategic guidance on system integration, data migration, testing, and deployment approaches.

·        Support vendor assessments, solution evaluations, and implementation planning activities.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution design.

·        Present recommendations and solution approaches to executive stakeholders and steering committees.

·        Develop governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement recommendations.

·        Support change management, user adoption, and business readiness initiatives throughout the transformation lifecycle.

·        Mentor client teams and facilitate knowledge transfer to enable long-term organizational success.

Basic Qualifications:

·        12+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise transformation, solution architecture, or business process improvement initiatives.

·        8+ years of experience delivering or advising on Planisware-enabled Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions.

·        Strong understanding of portfolio management, project governance, resource planning, and enterprise operating models.

·        Experience leading client workshops, business process assessments, and strategic transformation initiatives.

·        Experience with enterprise integrations, data migration, SQL/Oracle databases, and solution lifecycle management.

·        Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and large-scale business transformation programs.

·        Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

·        Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Travel: Remote Role, However, very minimum travel may require.

Degree:

Master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Bachelor''s degree with significant relevant consulting and transformation experience will also be considered.

Nice to Have:

Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or New Product Development (NPD).

Experience defining Target Operating Models (TOM), governance frameworks, and business process transformation strategies.

Exposure to organizational change management and business readiness initiatives.

Experience with enterprise architecture and digital transformation programs.

Familiarity with Planisware integrations, reporting, and analytics capabilities
