Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis and development of applications on a proprietary trading platform. This role involves building out and supporting a remote risk stack for various asset classes and developing analytics and pricing components for a hedge accounting platform. The position requires participation in the design and development of applications and collaboration with multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop applications on the Quartz trading platform.
- Build out and support the remote risk stack for various asset classes traded by Global Funding/CIO desks.
- Develop analytics and pricing components for the FAS133 hedge accounting platform.
- Drive and participate in the design and development of applications.
- Work with multiple teams across the organization on application development.
- Design and develop using modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Advanced knowledge of Python.
- Experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of various financial instruments, including Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo, and FX products.
- Understanding of risk and P/L generation for the specified financial instruments.
- Experience in Web UI technologies such as Angular and Spring.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
General Skills:- Extensive experience using design and architectural patterns.
- Creative, quick-thinking, and an aptitude for solving problems with technology.
- Ability to work both independently and within a high-functioning team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Capital Markets experience.
- Experience working on the Quartz remote risk framework and calculators.
- Knowledge of key Quartz components like Sandra, Bob, and Hugs.
