job summary:

This is the opportunity to join a 100+ member global team with multiple applications coming onboard into Openshift Container platform and multiple other tools. Latest up to date tech stack. Team is developing multiple products and fully Agile. This is a brand new horizontal team that will work with multiple high-visibility applications simultaneously.

responsibilities:

• Work with Application and development Teams to onboard applications to/integrate with CI/CD platform.
• Ability to Configure, Deploy, and Support Bank workloads to securely run and operate in Container Infra (K8s/RedHat Open Shift/AKS).
• Responsible for engineering of new capabilities to the OpenShift/Container Platforms and delivering those capabilities in a fully automated and supportable fashion.
• Develop software or system scripts to simplify or eliminate the dependence on human intervention for recurring tasks.
• Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for reliability improvement in the solution.
• A solid understanding of SDLC
• Expert level working with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Ansible Tower, JIRA.

qualifications:

Work with Application and development Teams to onboard applications to/integrate with CI/CD platform.

A solid understanding of SDLC

Expert level working with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Ansible Tower, JIRA.

Experience in release/build engineering processes, A/B deployments and testing

Experience implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools.

Experience working in Groovy and Python

Excellent communication skills - ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions to senior leadership is a must

Able to support development teams in a fast-paced environment in critical situations.

Able to self-organize and multitask

Experience with supporting multiple applications simultaneously

Experience with Agile development processes and tools

Experience with modern performance monitoring and diagnostics tools (examples: Splunk, Dynatrace etc.)

Expertise in supporting Container production (K8s/RedHat OpenShift) environments, and associated maintenance, change control, incident, and problem management.

Strong experience in Linux administration, programming experience in at least one language (Python, Shell scripting)

Strong experience in onboarding applications to OpenShift

Experience in building large scale distributed enterprise platforms with focus on performance, scale, security, and reliability.

Self-motivated and results oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems.

Understand relevant application technologies and development life cycles.

Operational Process & Routines: Strong adherence to operating controls, risk management, process review and creation, documentation, and collaborative knowledge sharing.

Ability to command a team of 10+ engineers

Proactive, clear communication, self-starter, inquisitive candidates that can clearly demonstrate expertise in the DevOps field. Candidates should not be coached.
