Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect (Active IRS Public Trust/MBI) Location: US Remote Duration: 6+ Months
Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $75/hr-$85/hr/.
Clearance: Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) or Public Trust Required Certifications: Salesforce Application and/or System Architect (Highly Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design: Lead the design of end-to-end solutions, including data models,
security architectures, and integration strategies (REST/SOAP, Middleware).
Technical Leadership: Guide development teams through the full SDLC, providing
architectural oversight and performing code/config reviews to ensure scalability and
performance.
Governance & Security: Ensure all designs comply with IRS-specific security
protocols, Section 508 accessibility requirements, and federal data privacy standards.
Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable
insights for IRS stakeholders and executive leadership.
Platform Strategy: Evaluate new Salesforce features and AppExchange products to
drive continuous improvement and modernization of legacy systems.
Technical Skills
Expertise in Salesforce integration patterns and tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar).
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or
Azure DevOps).
Proven ability to design for large-scale data volumes and complex sharing models
Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must hold an active IRS MBI or Public Trust clearance at the time of
application.
Experience: 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years specifically architecting
solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Salesforce Expertise: Deep knowledge of Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, as
well as Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and Flow.
Certifications:
Required: Salesforce Certified Administrator & Platform Developer I.
Required: At least one Architect-level certification (e.g., Certified Sharing and
Exposure Architect, Data Architect).
Preferred: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
