The Work

The Business Analyst III is responsible for overseeing, managing, and implementing the development of documentation for the client's business needs. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful translation of current system functionality into actionable system requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts thorough reviews, analysis, and evaluations of business systems and user requirements.
  • Designs and develops systems that align with overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Possesses expertise in business process reengineering, identifying innovative technology solutions to address business challenges and enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering methodologies. Prepares solution proposals, identifies risks, and conducts financial analyses, including cost/benefit assessments, ROI calculations, and buy-versus-build evaluations.
  • Documents detail descriptions of user needs, system functions, and the steps necessary to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Here's What You Need
  • 8 of experience with reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
  • 8 years of experience with an understanding of the business analysis areas of knowledge and its associated activities and tasks.
  • 8 years of experience participating in software development reviews and providing advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test.
  • 8 years of experience performing or participating in unit testing, support system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • 8 years of extensive skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy.
  • 8 years of experience in software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • 8 years of effective verbal and written communications with both IT and business professionals and clients.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:
  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Analyzing and interpreting raw data.
  • Requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Business process improvement and system design.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.



Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience with the implementation of case management systems.
  • 8 years of experience with Jira project management software.

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work on site in the main office in Austin, TX.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
