Position Summary

The Systems Engineer leads the definition, integration, and validation of complex automotive electronic systems across hardware and software. This role owns system-level behavior, drives cross-functional execution, and ensures products meet performance, quality, and customer expectations from concept through launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document system-level requirements for performance automotive electronic products and platforms.
  • Translate customer and product goals into clear, testable system specifications.
  • Own system architecture, interfaces, and integration strategy across hardware and software.
  • Drive cross-functional execution from concept through production launch.
  • Lead system integration, validation, and calibration activities (vehicle, dyno, and lab).
  • Partner with software, hardware, validation, quality, and product teams to deliver robust systems.
  • Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Lead root cause analysis across design, manufacturing, and field issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with performance automotive ECU systems and PC tuning software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing automotive electronic systems.
  • Experience leading or contributing to system integration across hardware and embedded software.
  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and engine management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle or dyno testing, calibration, or tuning tools.
  • Experience with CAN and automotive communication protocols.
  • Ability to read and work with complex automotive wiring systems.
